My husband booked the cabin as a surprise for our 29th wedding anniversary. It was an amazing surprise, much more private and homey than a hotel suite. We both loved the beautiful grounds with back porch overlooking the river, ducks and fish to feed and moss covered trees. Also enjoyed viewing the wedding chapel venue and the lights at night. We both look forward to coming back with outr children and grandson. It's a great place to visit.

If you are ever in Livingston, Alabama you should definitely book a cabin at Mimosa Ridge. The owner Bruce was amazing from booking to departure. He and his staff were amazing. The prices are fair, the cabins were fully stocked, the cabins were super clean and we booked all 6 cabins. There is so much space on the grounds to do whatever your heart desires. We played baseball and cornhole and many other games. The pictures on the site are definitely the same, often times the pictures online lie but not in this case. If I could give them 10 stars I would. It is definitely a must visit and it was 15 of us. Awesome location Bruce.

This is his 1st trip to Alabama and the experience will always be embedded in his mind and mine watching him play on the swings and see-saw. We didn't do much, we awed at the barges as they passed through, visited Belmont Park and Foscue Park in Demopolis. Mr. Bruce was very accommodating. Having stayed in two different cabins now, I can speak to their coziness, cleanliness, and consistency. The Mimosa Ridge cabins and wedding venue overlook the Tombigbee River and are revitalizing to the soul. I couldn't recommend them enough.

Just a quick anniversary get away for us, but it was exactly what we wanted and needed. Such a beautiful, peaceful place. Thank you! We were able to just disconnect from the busyness of our lives for a couple of days for our 26th anniversary. We will be back! Thank you again.

We came over from our home about 1 hour away for a quiet 29th anniversary weekend. We had planned to bring our boat and do some fishing but with the flooding we decided against it and we are so glad we did. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the barges pass and feeding the ducks and fish. Everything was wonderful and we look forward to bringing our children and grandchildren with us for another trip.

Our stay here at Mimosa Ridge is one we will never forget. My bridesmaids and I came to celebrate my upcoming marriage in peace and tranquility. That is exactly was we found here! This place provided a relaxing environment, nice cabins, gorgeous sites, wildlife sightings and a fluffy cat we named Randall. This was our first time coming, but it definitely won't be our last. We drove almost 4 hours to get here and this was so peaceful! Just he quiet and a cute little cabin! We celebrated our 34th anniversary over a 2 day weekend. We have 10 grandchildren and really needed a break from everyday life. Love the sound of the river flowing. It was a great weekend!

Cabin 2 feels like Gatlinburg in Alabama. Only 1 hour and 30 minutes from Tuscaloosa, my girlfriend and I decided to take a trip over. Mr. Bruce was very kind and helpful with getting the cabin booked. This place really is a hidden gem, and with it being so convenient, we will definitely be returning in the future. Cabin 2 looks like the best cabin at Mimosa because it is centrally located, the back porch is stellar and it is closest to the fishing pier by the rocks. Good times.

I so enjoyed my weekend here!! The pictures online do not give it justice. So much more beautiful than expected!! Peaceful!  I sat o the back deck and had a BLAST listening to the wedding after music. Made my day to hear all of this laughter and happiness.

The view was totally awesome. Watching the boats during the day and especially the lit up barges at night. Not to mention all of the birds and just the God-given scenery. I will definitely be back.
